The warm glowing colors of the cats and dogs in my Big Pets Series are symbolic of the emotional warmth and joy these animals bring into our lives. The surreal enlargement of the animals in various settings (Sausalito, San Francisco, a fantasy window, a tropical pool, etc.) is symbolic of the outsized hold they have over our hearts.
